To make life easier for our customers during the deactivation season we offer appointments on weekends.
Some home owners prefer to water during the month October. In order to prevent freezing damage I advise those customers to wrap the backflow with a blanket and cover it all with a plastic trash bag secured by duct tape. However, depending on the low temperatures, this practice may not prevent damage.
I recommend winterizing prior to the first freeing event and to use a hose to water the lawn during October.
